CPaT Global Introduces Embraer E175 Aircraft Systems Course: CPaT Global will soon launch its new Embraer E175 Aircraft Systems course, developed using CPaT’s innovative Microlesson framework for scenario-based training and immersive CPaT SmartGraphics. As regional operators continue to reform pilot training programs, the NextGen E175 course delivers a modern learning experience specifically designed to improve engagement, simplify complex systems training, and strengthen long-term knowledge retention. The launch expands CPaT’s portfolio of enhanced aircraft systems courses built to support today’s airline training environments. The Embraer E175 course features focused Microlessons that break down aircraft systems into manageable, topic-specific modules, allowing pilots to absorb information more effectively while reducing cognitive overload. Greg Darrow, Vice President of Sales at CPaT Global. “This course reflects our commitment to helping airlines deliver smarter, more flexible training that supports CBTA, AQP, and EBT initiatives while improving the overall learner experience.” Pegasus Airlines invests in new AI-powered operations platform: Pegasus Innovation Lab, which leads Pegasus Airlines’ innovation-driven transformation, has entered into a strategic partnership with Overwatch AI as both a strategic investor and design partner for an AI-powered platform aimed at enabling pilots, cabin crews and operations teams to access critical information more quickly and support operational decision-making. Based in Silicon Valley and focused on developing partnerships with the global technology ecosystem on behalf of Pegasus Airlines, Pegasus Innovation Lab is collaborating with Overwatch AI, a platform developed specifically for the needs of airline operations. The platform enables teams to quickly retrieve information through natural language to support operational decision-making across a range of topics, including technical issues, weather assessments and airport and airline requirements. Pegasus has also begun actively using the platform within its operations. Developed specifically for the needs of airline operations, the platform developed by Overwatch AI – founded by former airline pilot Leo Kotil and technology entrepreneur Nikita Kaeshko – is currently used across 30,000 flight operations globally per month and supports increased operational efficiency. Singapore Airlines adds Amsterdam flights: Singapore Airlines (SIA) will increase flight frequencies between Singapore and Amsterdam to 10 weekly services between 1 August and 22 October 2026, up from the current daily services, in response to strong demand for travel between the Asia-Pacific region and Europe. Subject to regulatory approvals, flight SQ334 will depart Singapore for Amsterdam on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at 1110hrs (local time). The return flight, SQ333, will depart Amsterdam for Singapore on the same days at 2035hrs (local time). Dai Haoyu, Senior Vice President Marketing Planning, Singapore Airlines, said: “Amsterdam has an important role in our broader European network. Through our Singapore hub, we connect travellers from the Asia-Pacific and beyond seamlessly, helping to meet the strong demand on this route. This increase in frequencies reflects our confidence in the route’s long-term potential, and we will seek opportunities to extend it beyond October 2026.” The increase in services to Amsterdam builds on SIA’s recent European network enhancements. These include a new five-times-weekly service to Madrid via Barcelona, increased services to Manchester and Milan to daily, increased services to Munich to 10-times weekly, as well as increasing frequencies to London Gatwick to make it a double-daily operation. Together, these developments support the growing demand for travel and further strengthen connectivity through Singapore, providing customers with greater choice and improved onward connections across Europe. Milan Bergamo Airport welcomes Jazeera Airways: Jazeera Airways has inaugurated flights between Kuwait City and Milan Bergamo Airport, marking its entry into the Italian market. Services on the new route will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays with the Airbus A320neo aircraft. The launch represents the first direct air link between Milan Bergamo Airport and Kuwait, further strengthening the airport’s connectivity with the Middle East and expanding travel options for both leisure and business travellers. The new service is expected to stimulate inbound tourism to Northern Italy while also providing convenient access to Kuwait and onward connections across the Gulf region. We are pleased to partner with Jazeera Airways on its Italian market debut and are confident this route will be well received by passengers across our catchment area.” Loganair signs 15-year SAF deal with ClimaHtech Green Flight: Loganair and ClimaHtech Green Flight announced a 15-year Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) offtake agreement, supporting the long-term decarbonisation of regional aviation in the UK. Under the agreement, Loganair intends to offtake SAF for a period of 15 years. The SAF will be produced using ClimaHtech Green Flight’s advanced technology pathways, including BioSAF (Power-Biomass-to-Liquid) and eSAF (Power-to-Liquid). ClimaHtech Green Flight’s technology enables decentralised SAF production that can utilise waste biomass feedstocks and flexibly operate alongside intermittent renewable power sources through its proprietary technology. ClimaHtech Green Flight is currently developing a first of its kind SAF production project, aligning closely with Loganair’s core operational footprint across the Scottish Highlands, Islands and regional UK routes, including Northern Ireland. The agreement supports the UK Government’s SAF mandate and reflects a shared ambition to develop locally produced, scalable SAF solutions that can serve regional aviation close to their operations while reducing lifecycle carbon emissions. Vietjet expands Europe connectivity with new Hanoi–Prague route: Vietjet has announced the launch of its new Hanoi–Prague service. The new route marks the airline’s expansion into Europe and further strengthens connectivity between Vietnam and the European Union. Additionally, the new route will also provide passengers with convenient access to more than 20 countries and territories across Vietjet’s growing network of 186 routes. Set to commence on 10 October 2026, the Hanoi–Prague route will be operated by Vietjet’s  Airbus A330 aircraft via Almaty, Kazakhstan, with an initial frequency of two return flights per week on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Flights will depart from Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi at 08:25 and arrive at Vaclav Havel Airport Prague at 18:55. The return service will depart Prague at 20:55 and arrive in Hanoi at 16:20 the following day (all timings are listed in local time). This much-awaited enhancement reflects Air India Group’s continued focus on making Maharaja Points more relevant for frequent flyers, enabling members to unlock greater value on their journeys across both Air India and Air India Express’ expansive network. Maharaja Club members can immediately begin earning Maharaja Points and Tier Points on Air India Express-operated flights when booking across multiple channels, including the Air India and Air India Express websites and mobile apps and through major travel agents. Maharaja Club members will also have their Air India Express flights contribute to their tier progression, with eligible flights counting toward both minimum flight requirements and Tier Points accumulation, enabling members to accelerate reaching higher tiers of the programme.
