Plaza Premium Group and Shanghai Airport Group have signed an agreement to open the new Aerotel Airport Hotel at Shanghai Pudong International Airport Terminal 2. The Aerotel Shanghai Pudong Airport Hotel is an integrated hospitality facility combining accommodation, dining, and wellness, with 82 hotel rooms in total.
Set to open in the second quarter of 2025, this new development marks the official debut of Aerotel in Shanghai. This collaboration with Shanghai Airport (Group) Co., Ltd, aligns with PPG’s strategic expansion in Greater China, following its recent lounge openings in Macau and Chongqing. The introduction of Aerotel, an award-winning airport hotel brand, will further enhance convenience and service quality in the overall experience in Pudong International Airport.
Offering flexible hourly booking, quality services, and cozy environments, Aerotels have consistently provided convenience and top-notch hospitality for travellers since their inception in 2016. The new Aerotel in Shanghai represents the eleventh global location and the third in Mainland China. To date, Aerotel have established locations in ten cities globally, including Beijing, Qingdao, Kuala Lumpur, Cebu, Singapore, Sydney, Rio De Janeiro, London, Muscat, and Jeddah. Additionally, Smart Traveller, the global travel membership by PPG, will also be launched in China.
