Pilatus Aircraft has appoints Air Charter Services (ACSPL) as its official PC-12 Sales and Service Centre in India with responsibility for India,  Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Burma and Thailand.

As the official Service Center, the New Delhi-based facility will manage aircraft sales and
carry out maintenance and warranty work for the turboprop business aircraft.

“We are delighted to be working with a partner like ACSPL, who enjoys such a  good reputation”, comments Fred Muggli, Head of Sales & Marketing PC-12 at  Pilatus in Stans. “Asia is an interesting market for us, and in ACSPL we have  found a reliable local partner with the skills and experience to offer our  customers a first-class service.”

Semoun Jolly, Director of ACSPL, already owns three PC-12s. “The  PC-12 can be used for a wide range of transport missions. Its ability to operate  on unmade runways which are actually little more than tracks is ideal in our  region”, comments Jolly.

Muggli adds: “We believe there are huge opportunities for the PC-12 in Asia and  I am confident that ACSPL, with its many years of experience, can enhance our sales activities. We expect demand to be high, given the comparatively low cost  of purchasing and operating a PC-12 coupled with its outstanding versatility,  whether as a business, cargo or ambulance aircraft.”

Sales of the PC-12 have increased steadily since it was first launched in 1994.  Total aircraft sold now exceed 1100.
