Peach Decides to Introduce Airbus A320neo to its Fleet
Orders the A320ceo for a total order of 13 aircraft

Tokyo18 November, 2016-Peach Aviation Limited (“Peach”; Representative Director and CEO: Shinichi Inoue; Head office: Osaka Prefecture) today decided to purchase A320neo aircraft from Airbus SAS (President and Chief Executive Officer: Fabrice Brégier) and has signed an agreement to buy 10 aircraft. This will be the first time for a Japanese LCC (low cost carrier) to order A320neoaircraft. It has also signed an agreement to purchase three A320ceo aircraft.
The first A320neo is scheduled to be received by the summer of 2019. In addition to updates to its existing aircraft, the A320neo will be used as a part of the introduction of new aircraft for Peach’s business expansion. Offering superb environmental features, the A320neo adopts a new model engine and large Sharklet wingtip devices, which are state-of-the-art wingtips devices that greatly improve fuel economy compared to conventional aircraft and also reduce CO2emissions.
All aircraft currently operated by Peach are newly build aircraft, and the 18 A320ceo which it now operates will be updated to the A320neo starting in 2019.
The three A320ceo aircraft it has ordered for its business expansion are scheduled to be delivered in 2018.
