Rolls-Royce has appointed Paul O’Neil as Director of the Group’s Seletar Campus in Singapore. In his new role, O’Neill will be responsible for managing all operations at the 154,000 sqm Campus, the Group’s most advanced manufacturing, assembly, research and training facility to date.
Paul has worked for Rolls-Royce for over 25 years and has held a number of senior positions including general manager at International Engine Component Overhaul (IECO), a joint venture between Rolls-Royce and Singapore Airlines Engineering , which delivers aero engine component repair and overhaul.
When fully operational, the Seletar Campus will create over 500 new jobs, bringing the total number of people employed by Rolls-Royce and its joint venture partners in Singapore to over 2,000. The Group’s value-added contribution to the economy in Singapore is expected to increase to over S$1.6 billion per year or 0.5% of Singapore’s GDP by 2015.
