The 144-month inspection is one of the most in-depth work on the Embraer Legacy 650, and requires special tooling, equipment and knowledge of the airframe to complete the job successfully.

This maintenance project was undertaken by Nomad Technics at its Basel/Switzerland facility and included an extensive corrosion inspection of the aircraft’s primary and secondary structures, functional and operational tests of systems and furthermore the implementation of Service Bulletins and Airworthiness Directives. The landing gear underwent a complete overhaul. In addition, the customer requested Nomad Technics for a full cabin refurbishment.

In cooperation with F/LIST, a leading aircraft interior company the new cabin was fully customised to the client’s specification. This included full seat re-upholstery, re-veneering of all woodwork, installation of a new stone floor and new countertops in the galley and lavatory, new carpet, ceiling and sidewall panels and plating of all metal parts.
