Noida International opts for ADB SAFEGATE system

ADB SAFEGATE said it has signed a contract to supply the Advanced Visual Docking Guidance System (A-VDGS) and Apron Management System for Noida International Airport (NIA) in Uttar Pradesh, India. This greenfield airport project is being developed by Yamuna International Airport Private Limited (YIAPL), a 100% subsidiary of Zurich Airport International AG.

ADB SAFEGATE will implement its latest and advanced Airside 4.0 technology, including the state-of-the-art FLEX A-VDGS with multicolor display and the latest and most comprehensive Apron Manager system. These technologies are designed to improve operational efficiency, safety, and sustainability at Noida International Airport.

The project includes the supply and installation of ADB SAFEGATE’s latest FLEX A-VDGS, featuring enhanced RIDS capabilities, and the latest Apron Manager—one of the most advanced apron management products on the market today. ADB SAFEGATE will manage supply and terms, installation will be handled by our partners AMA. The project timeline is in alignment with the airport’s development plans.

Noida International Airport, located in Uttar Pradesh near New Delhi, is a major addition to India’s aviation infrastructure. Developed by the Zurich group, it represents Zurich Airport International AG’s first fully-owned project in India, expanding their global footprint.
