New Shanghai rail link

A new rail link will cut the journey between Shanghai’s two international airports to as little as 30 minutes, Sun Jianping, chief of the Shanghai Transport Commission told Shanghai Daily.

According to Sun, options include an “express Metro” link and a railway line between Hongqiao and Pudong airports.

Sun was speaking at the 12th Shanghai committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference.
