Mumbai’s CSMIA boosts domestic and international connectivity

Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA) has announced its summer schedule with 14 percent more weekly flight movements as compared to the summer schedule of 2022. The summer schedule is effective from 26 March until 28 October. Increased demand for domestic and international travel movement from CSMIA has fueled the rise in the overall flight operations, which in turn will benefit the travellers from Mumbai and neighboring cities. Moreover, the summer schedule will have additional services to 24 destinations.

With travel gaining momentum in India, CSMIA is ready to cater to passengers with better connectivity and enhanced flight schedule this summer. CSMIA will see 966 daily movements, as against approximately 820 of the previous summer schedule of 2022. Witnessing over 6762 movements weekly, thus observing over 14 percent hike in 2023 weekly flight operations as compared to 2022. Of which IndiGo will cater to weekly 47 percent movements, Air India with weekly 17 percent movements and Vistara with weekly 14 percent movements. Summer schedule will also witness increased connectivity with additional 44 movements to Goa, 37 movements to Hyderabad, 31 more movements to Kochi, 28 more movements to Rajkot and Vadodara among others across.

CSMIA is well-aligned with the passengers’ need and the demand to specific destinations. Travellers flying through the city will witness 714 domestic movements and 252 movements on international destinations. Najaf, Kathmandu, San Francisco, Istanbul, Colombo, Phu Quoc, Danang, among many others are the newly introduced routes. While Fly Baghdad, VietJet, and Azerbaijan have newly commenced operations on this route to Mumbai. The airport has curated this revised schedule to better suit the growing passenger movement through Mumbai and for travellers to enjoy the best possible direct flight connectivity.
