MEC Receives The First Global 7500 Hangar-Parking Aircraft

https://www.interairport-southeastasia.com/en-gb/lp/exprom-2.htmlMetrojet Engineering Clark (MEC), the Philippines-based maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) station of Hong Kong-based Metrojet Limited, has recently received its certification from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to work on the airframe, aircraft batteries and aircraft wheel assemblies of the Bombardier BD700-2A12 (Global 7500).

MEC obtained the wheel assembly capability in June 2022. With the latest airframe and battery approval from the FAA in November, MEC is now able to perform the Global 7500 scheduled maintenance up to 24-month Check, aircraft batteries and aircraft nose/main wheel assemblies’ maintenance.

Metrojet Engineering Clark currently operates a 7,100 m2 hangar providing both hangar and ramp parking and a fully authorised repair station with approvals from the Civil Aviation Authority of The Philippines (CAAP), The United States Federal Aviation Administration (The U.S. FAA), the Cayman Islands CAA, the Qatar QCAA, the Isle of Man CAA, and the San Marino CAA. Metrojet Engineering Clark is a well-developed MRO facility designed to augment both heavy and line maintenance capabilities in the Asia Pacific region.
