Metrojet MRO completes first 12-month Challenger inspection

The MRO had added the corresponding Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) approval in January 2022. The 12-month check included the modification of the power source for the Cockpit Voice Recorder (CVR) and Flight Data Recorder (FDR), life raft overhaul, replacement of the fire extinguishers and ice detectors, and additional defect rectification.

“We provided complimentary hangar parking throughout the maintenance event. The inspection was completed in seven weeks under the lead of our own Metrojet-trained engineer working alongside another engineer with significant Bombardier product knowledge and previous work experience in the OEM Singapore facility,” said Sarith Vaikuntan, general manager of Metrojet Engineering Clark.

菲律宾 克拉克 – (2022年4月27日) — 香港公务航空服务运营商 美捷香港商用飞机有限公司(Metrojet Limited,www.metrojet.com)位于菲律宾克拉克的维修站 — Metrojet Engineering Clark — 于 2022 年 1 月新增庞巴迪挑战者 350飞机的菲律宾民航局批准后,最近完成首次挑战者 350飞机的 12 月检。

是次的12 月检包括修改驾驶舱通话记录器及飞行信息记录仪的电源装置、翻修救生筏、更换灭火器及结冰探测器,以及修整其他问题。
