Lufthansa Technik and Air India Express have signed an agreement for engine maintenance services that includes overhauling a minimum of three CFM56-7B engines for the Boeing 737-800 fleet. The agreement is the first one ever signed between Lufthansa Technik and the subsidiary of Air India.
In addition to the EMS, Lufthansa Technik also supports a part of the Boeing 737 fleet of the airline with ad hoc repair and exchange of components as well as Aircraft on Ground (AOG) Services.
