Lion opts for Trent 700
Lion Group has selected Rolls-Royce Trent 700 engines for its three Airbus A330-300ceo aircraft that it ordered in December.
The aircraft are earmarked to enter service in the fourth quarter of this year with Lion Air, and will replace Boeing 747s on the Haj route to Jeddah. No decision has been made on financing yet.
