Jetstar Asia (3K) announced it has relaunched its Singapore to Osaka route via Manila. The Singaporean low-cost carrier will operate five services a week between Singapore and Osaka, increasing to daily from 30 December to meet the pent-up demand for the popular service.
Jetstar Asia CEO, Barathan Pasupathi said Jetstar Asia’s return to Japan was an important milestone as the low-fares airline continued to grow its extensive Asian network. “Osaka is an exciting destination for travellers from Singapore and the Philippines and this route demonstrates our commitment to providing more low-fare options for our customers across Asia,” Barathan said. “Known as the food capital of Japan, Osaka is also famous for its nightlife, architecture, and history, so we’re excited to be able to offer our great low fares to this incredible city once again. And in return, we know our Japanese customers are excited to have easy access to Manila, the exciting bustling metropolis, as well as being able to seamlessly connect to Singapore where they can enjoy a myriad of iconic attractions and activities here in our ‘Garden City’.”
