Jet Aviation Hong Kong provides certification to Canadian-registered aircraft in Asia
Hong Kong, SAR / March 22, 2016 – Jet Aviation Hong Kong recently has been approved via a Master Service Agreement (MSA) between Transport Canada and the Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department to certify Canadian registered aircraft in Hong Kong.
As Canada’s authorizing agency responsible for developing regulations, policies and services of transportation in Canada, Transport Canada has signed an agreement with the Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department to support and certify Canadian-registered aircraft. In light of this agreement, Jet Aviation Hong Kong is now able to support and certify Canadian-registered Gulfstream G650/G550/G450, Bombardier Challenger 604/605 and Global Express aircraft, as well as the Dassault Falcon 7X, through its Hong Kong CAD repair station approval.
“Business aviation is a logistical solution for business executives who travel the world,” says Nigel Parker, managing director at the Jet Aviation Hong Kong maintenance facility. “Our goal as service providers is to support them across borders through a network of locations where it makes sense or where there is demand and our customers gain value. This approval helps ensure that Canadian aircraft owners and operators have access to the services they require when travelling through Asia and we look forward to welcoming them to Hong Kong.”
Jet Aviation also has a 24/7 aircraft management and charter operation in Hong Kong, and currently has 31 aircraft in its Asian management fleet. The company was honored at the inaugural Asian Business Aviation Association (AsBAA) 2015 Gala Awards event in November 2015, when its Hong Kong aircraft management and charter operation received AsBAA’s Best Management Company Industry Award.
