Aviation Festival AFA 728 x 90Flight simulator manufacturer HAVELSAN, headquartered in Ankara, said International Flight Training Center (IFTC) has signed a contract for an Airbus A320 NEO/CEO Full Flight Simulator (FFS) with three engine options.

IFTC, a member of Gözen Holding, is Türkiye’s first independent simulator training center. It has provided its customers an excellent training environment with two training centers on different continents (one in Istanbul and one in Antalya). Both centers operate five FFS covering Airbus A320 and Boeing B737NG aircraft types. IFTC is internationally recognised for its support to a wide range of airlines and ATOs.

In response to the strong domestic and international demand for full flight simulator capacity and training services, IFTC is investing in growing its training infrastructure across its training centers.

The HAVELSAN device is being installed at the beginning of the summer season in 2024 and will be the first Turkish-manufactured FFS in IFTC, marking a significant milestone for Türkiye, IFTC, and HAVELSAN.

“I am glad to announce our procurement of A320 FFS to IFTC, believing that it will support IFTC in growing their training activities. This collaboration marks a significant milestone in our commitment to delivering cutting-edge training solutions to the aviation industry. Together, we aim to elevate the training experience for pilots and contribute to the advancement of aviation excellence worldwide” stated Mehmet Akif Nacar, CEO of HAVELSAN.

“We are proud to announce a significant advancement in our commitment to excellence in aviation training by procuring an FFS from HAVELSAN, Türkiye’s premier manufacturer. This strategic decision not only reflects our dedication to elevating standards for both domestic and international customers, but also signifies our confidence in HAVELSAN’s emergence as a key player in the global aviation industry,” stated Cengiz Arbaç, General Manager of IFTC.
