Honeywell and Australia¹s Flite Path Sign Agreement for Defence Aviation and Commercial Helicopter Customers

Honeywell has signed an agreement with Flite Path, an Australian-owned aerospace parts supplier and stocking distributor. It will support the needs of military customers and civil helicopter operators, in addition to maintenance facilities, in the Asia Pacific region. This agreement enables the distribution of Honeywell’s aviation spare parts across Australia, New Zealand and South Korea, to reduce repair turnaround and fleet downtime.

Because helicopter downtime can greatly affect fleet availability, prolonged maintenance time is a pain point for operators. With a regional distributor, in a local time zone, this agreement is expected to facilitate more efficient operator support and satisfaction. It will also complement Honeywell’s defense aviation and commercial helicopter maintenance and repair capabilities in the Asia Pacific region. Together, Honeywell and Flite Path plan to improve lead times for orders, acquisitions and repair processes to enhance defence aviation and commercial rotary-wing availability.
