“This year has been significant for HK Express as our team meticulously expanded our network of destinations, fleet and team,” said HK Express CEO Jeanette Mao. “Not only have we achieved the milestone of surpassing six million passengers in a single year but we have also been recognised by the industry as the fastest-growing airline globally. As Hong Kong’s only low-cost airline, we will continue to offer affordable fares and introduce exciting new destinations, enabling travellers to embrace the freedom to travel anytime, anywhere. We are confident in our ability to further contribute to Hong Kong’s aviation and tourism sectors, reinforcing the city’s position as an international aviation hub.”

HK Express welcomed its six-millionth passenger on the last day of 2024, achieving a historic high for the total passengers carried in a single year. To celebrate this significant milestone, the HK Express management team greeted the six-millionth passenger at the gate for flight UO668 from Hong Kong to Fukuoka and presented the lucky traveller, Ms Wan, with six round-trip tickets as a token of appreciation for her continuous support, and continue to embrace the brand value of “Live More” by exploring over 30 destinations of HK Express.

Wan expressed her surprise, saying, “I never thought that I would be this lucky! I will plan next year’s travel itinerary with my family; I prefer natural scenery, so I will likely explore different destinations in Japan.”
