HK Express Launches HAN Route

HK Express announced it has commenced its inaugural service between Hong Kong and Hanoi. As the latest addition to join the airline’s network in Vietnam, this highly anticipated new route offers travellers affordable and flexible flights with more ways to connect with the country.

“We are excited to expand our network in Vietnam,” said Jeanette Mao, HK Express CEO. “We currently fly to Da Nang and Nha Trang, and this new addition of service to Vietnam’s capital Hanoi enables our customers to access all three cities and explore different adventures and landscapes in the unmissable country.”

With the airline’s new link to Hanoi, HK Express expands its network to 29 destinations. Of these, 20 are operating, while the airline’s flight frequency has already returned to the pre-pandemic levels of 2019. HK Express currently operates more than 430 flights a week, with plans to increase its flight frequency to more than 500 per week this summer.

Cebu Pacific adds flights from to Clark
Cebu Pacific is set to bring more travelers from Singapore to the Philippines as it adds direct flights from Singapore to Clark. Clark is a perfect gateway for inbound travelers due to its proximity to Manila and other tourism destinations in northern Philippines like Baguio, Zambales, La Union, and Pangasinan.

Clark also serves as a jump off point across the Philippines, with Cebu Pacific set to operate direct flights from Clark International Airport (CRK) to eight other destinations in the country, including Boracay, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Bacolod, and Puerto Princesa.

To support the expansion, Cebu Pacific is basing three additional aircraft in Clark. These are on top of the 10 new Airbus NEO aircraft that will be delivered in 2023 to expand the airline’s entire fleet.

“The Philippine Embassy in Singapore welcomes this good news. With the direct flight to Clark, locals and tourists from Singapore can now easily connect to northern Luzon and nearby areas. This new route will pave the way for new business and investment opportunities, especially for New Clark City, and will further boost Philippine tourism,” said Philippine Ambassador to Singapore Medardo Macaraig.

Aside from Clark, CEB currently flies thrice daily between Singapore and Manila, providing passengers easy access to the Lion City, to experience its famous culinary scene, see its scenic spots, engage in thrill-seeking activities, or go shopping. Cebu Pacific now flies to 35 domestic and 25 international destinations, spanning across Asia, Australia, and the Middle East.
