HIGH-FLYING ALPHA AVIATION WINS NEW TRAINING CONTRACTS
Alpha Aviation Group is cementing its reputation as the leading pilot selection and training provider in South East Asia and the Indian sub-continent.
The training organisation was approached by Mihin Lanka, sister airline of Sri Lankan Airlines, to select the next batch of its pilots to be trained on the Airbus A320 aircraft.
The five-day selection process in Colombo was led by Cadet Selection Manager, Luke Edwards, along with two former British Airways Captains, Richard Thomas and Andrew McKechnie.
In all, 22 candidates were interviewed and assessed with the help of Symbiotics Performance Solutions; ADAPT software, which is widely used by international airlines and pilot training academies to predict the trainability of a pilot, their operational effectiveness and how easily they would transition into an airline’s culture.
