HAECO Xiamen have been certified as an official calibration center for ExLRT in China. The ExLRT is a Loop Resistance Tester which was launched as modern replacement of the incumbent ‘yellow-box’ LRT. It is rapidly becoming the preferred tool of choice within the MRO sector due to its intrinsically safe credentials and 80 percent lighter construction. The ExLRT is listed alongside the LRT in Boeing maintenance manuals. HAECO have already begun providing the ExLRT calibration service, with the first successfully carried out for Boeing Shanghai earlier this month.
Charlie Cheung, MK Test’s Regional Sales Director for Asia Pacific and Australasia said “HAECO Xiamen is a well known MRO for technical expertise. We are happy to list them as an approved ExLRT calibration centre in China. Many of our customers require calibration to be carried out by a Chinese certified supplier so we can now offer this with HAECO.”
HAECO is an MRO service providers in Asia-Pacific. Based at Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport, HAECO’s 460,000 sqm facilities include six hangars capable of simultaneously accommodating 12 widebody aircraft and five narrowbody aircraft. HAECO have been certified for ExLRT calibration services by CNAS (China National Accreditation Service).
