India’s GoAir is planning to double the number of flights to about 1,400 a week by the end of the financial year.
“We target more capacity addition through via flights from our base in Mumbai and from cities like Bangalore and other centres. Through this extension of network we will offer about 700 more flights per week apart from the already existing straight 720 flights on our network,” CEO Giorgio De Roni told India’s Economic Times.
The carrier has recently taken delivery of a 12th Airbus A320.
