Gilat wins IFC order for Taurus Aero modems

AFA-728-x-90Gilat Satellite Networks, a worldwide provider of satellite networking technology, solutions, and services, announced today that an IFC Service Provider is expanding its In-Flight Connectivity (IFC) capabilities with a strategic multimillion-dollar order mainly for Gilat’s Taurus Aero modems.

Taurus is an ultra-high-performance modem solution for In-Flight Connectivity (IFC) already deployed globally across tens of commercial airlines. Taurus delivers all satellite communication needs for multi-orbit constellations and Very High Throughput Satellites (VHTS) and enables the delivery of reliable, high-performance connectivity solutions to air travellers.
