Fuji Dream takes gold E175
A gold-coloured Embraer E175 with a new wingtip is Fuji Dream Airlines’ latest aircraft to have entered into commercial operation. This E175 is the airlines’ ninth aircraft and adds to its existing uniquely coloured fleet of E170s and E175s. Its first commercial flight took place on 25 March from Nagoya to Aomori.
Fuji Dream Airlines’ latest E175 is configured in a single-class layout with 84 seats and is equipped with the Autoland system to perform CAT III approach and landing in limited visual conditions. It also features recent aerodynamic enhancements introduced by Embraer, such as a new wingtip and other technical improvements that reduce fuel burn.
This is the delivery of the first of three firm E175 orders (plus options for another three) that was announced during the Farnborough Airshow in July 2014. In addition to the latest E175, Fuji Dream Airlines currently operates three E170s and five E175s.
