Fokker adds CRJs to ABACUS programme

Fokker Services has added the Bombardier CRJ700/900/1000 to its component availability programme ABACUS. The programme already serves Bombardier Dash 8 Q100/Q200/Q300 turboprops and all Fokker aircraft.

Fokker says ABACUS is the longest running component availability program in aviation history, supporting more than 200 aircraft and serving more than 30 operators of regional aircraft.

The programme can be tailored to every individual operator, where as it combines component maintenance service with on-site stocks and forward exchange service, offered on a fee per Flight Hour with guaranteed availability and service levels. It focuses on cost predictability and increased component reliability.

ABACUS members have unlimited access to extensive component exchange pools located in the USA, Europe and Asia and are supported by a 24/7 staffed AOG desk.

Heino van der Laan, Vice President Marketing & Sales for Fokker Services “We are excited to have officially launched this program also on the CRJ fleet and we are confident that we can announce shortly our first customer for this new program. Our customer focus and ability to translate our customer needs into a tailored support program made ABACUS the success story it is today and we look forward to serving many new customers in the future.”
