Etihad to put 787 on Singapore route

Etihad Airways has announced it will put a Boeing 787 on the Abu-Dhabi-Singapore route 1 August 2015.

Qatar Airways will put an Airbus A350 on Doha-Singapore from next week, as the Gulf carriers step up their presence in the City State. Emirates already serves Singapore with an A380, (as well as 777-300ERs).

The new Etihad 787 operation will follow a major upgrade for the route on 1 June, which includes the introduction of First Class and a change in schedule timings which provides better connections to the airline’s network via its Abu Dhabi hub.
