From spraying crops across thousands of hectares to surveying remote mining sites to assisting in emergency response efforts, drones and autonomous systems are transforming the way Australian industries operate. Once viewed as primarily defence-focused capability, it’s now clear that drones are transforming a wide range of industries across Australia including agriculture, mining, energy and emergency services. But for many organisations, accessing the right solutions and capabilities from suppliers remains complex and time-consuming.
The launch of the Mirragin Australian Drone Ecosystem (MADE) portal marks a major step toward solving that problem. This national platform connects Australian businesses, industry, and government with trusted drone and autonomous system providers, helping to streamline accessibility, coordination and deployment.
MADE is building a connected, national drone and autonomous systems ecosystem, providing a range of Australian industries access to fast and reliable solutions. MADE serves as a one-stop-shop to seamlessly help connect end users with the right drone specialists and capabilities to meet their needs.
MADE’s Managing Director, Rob Sutton said that “Drones and autonomous systems are being used everywhere – from crop monitoring to search and rescue missions. But industries don’t always know where to go to find the right technology or right support. MADE acts as a matchmaking ecosystem by connecting customers with trusted drone suppliers and specialists across the country.”
The portal is designed to support rapid adoption of drone technology while also boosting Australia’s sovereign capability all while making it easier for industries to find and engage with Australian drone and autonomous system solutions.
MADE, which is an initiative by Mirragin Consulting founded by Rob Sutton, is seen as an industry leader in this space. As the drone industry demand continues to grow, MADE is ensuring that Australian industries can easily and seamlessly access autonomous solutions, fast.
“We’re incredibly proud to see MADE evolving into a national ecosystem that connects suppliers and end users through a single, streamlined platform,” Rob Sutton. “As part of this, we’ve also launched the MADE Search and Rescue (SAR) Network – a rapid-response capability that enables emergency services to quickly access trusted drone support when and where it is needed most.”
