CTC Aviation appoints RNZAF Chief to head Hamilton Flight Training Centre

Hamilton Airport-based airline pilot training provider, CTC Aviation, has appointed the chief of the Royal New Zealand Air Force Air (RNZAF) as its new Managing Director.

Vice-Marshal Peter Stockwell will join CTC Aviation as managing director in mid-February upon his retirement from a distinguished 40-year military career. He met staff and cadets at the flight training centre for the first time in late November.

During his RNZAF career, Stockwell has experienced all aspects of senior operational and training leadership in both New Zealand and overseas. Of particular relevance to his new role with CTC Aviation, Stockwell has served in a number of flight training roles and been the director of Air Force Training.

“I am very excited to be joining CTC Aviation, a dynamic company that is renowned for setting high standards and producing very professional pilots. I’m also looking forward to applying my aviation knowledge and experience as CTC looks to further capitalise upon the global growth in the aviation sector,” said Stockwell of his appointment.
