COVID-19: We’re here for you

A message from Marilyn Tangye Butler, Publisher of Asian Aviation

AAV-ICON-2014

Dear Aviation Colleagues:

Asian Aviation has for the last 20 years been focused on bringing you the latest news and insight into the industry with special attention to the Asia-Pacific region and those events globally that affect us. In these difficult times that we all face, the entire team at Asian Aviation is redoubling its efforts to keep you abreast of the news and events that affect your specific sectors, whether it’s manufacturing, MRO, interiors, business aviation and all the other sectors we cover in-depth.

Marilyn Tangye Butler, Publisher of Asian Aviation.

As with all companies affected by the global pandemic, we have had to adjust to the new realities we face in dealing with the recommendations of world health authorities. This will mean an increase in the tele-reporting we will be engaging in and the use of all the digital tools at our disposal to keep in touch with key aviation decision makers.

It also means we have been forced to suspend our print editions for the next four months starting with the May issue, but we will continue to produce the magazine in PDF format for download from www.asianaviation.com and subscribers will continue to receive their digital e-magazine. And of course, you can always check for the latest updates and news on our website as they happen. We will review this decision to suspend the print publication and keep you informed as the situation changes.

For our advertisers, we encourage you to help us get the word out to the industries and sectors you serve by continuing to support the PDF version and e-magazine as well as take advantage of the new opportunities we offer on our website such as podcast and video sponsorships.

For our readers, each COVID-19-related story that appears will have COVID-19 at the beginning of the headline to make it clear and easy to navigate to the latest news. Our Aviation News in Brief columns will contain the latest news straight from the companies themselves and our editorial team will be seeking out other major news stories to keep you informed of the latest events in the industry.

We know the times ahead will be difficult, fast-changing, and have a deep impact on the industry. We want you to know we are here with you all.

If there are ways in which we can better serve you, please don’t hesitate to contact me personally at marilyn.tangye@asianaviation.com, for news and editorial, contact editor Matt Driskill at matt.driskill@asianaviation.com or for advertising contact kay.rolland@asianaviation.com.

We’ll keep you updated as things evolve and check www.asianaviation.com for the latest daily news. Please take care and stay well at this difficult time.
