China Southern rebrands First Class

China Southern Airlines has rebranded its First Class product as Business Class.

This is part of a bid to entice back government officials who are banned from travelling First Class under President Xi Jinping’s crackdown on corruption.

Chinese mainline carriers have taken a financial hit from the slowing economy and fall in the value of the Renimbi, as well as a decline in premium-end sales.
