CHINA SOUTHERN ORDERS TEN 777-300ERS

China Southern has placed an order with Boeing for ten 777-300ERS. The aircraft are due to be delivered  from 2013 to 2016.

In an announcement to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, the carrier notes the list price of the aircraft is US$298 million each, giving a total price of nearly US$3 billion at catalogue prices.
The carrier says the deal will partly be payable by cash and partly by  financing  arrangements with  banking  institutions. China Southern has six 777-200ERs and four 777-200s in its current fleet, and took delivery of its first 777 in 1995.
