https://www.ses.ie/China Airlines, the Taiwan based carrier, has been awarded the Global Traveler magazine “Best Airline in North Asia” award. The airline also beat out more than 600 airlines from around the world to be named a “Five Star Global Airline” for eight consecutive years. Other international accolades included “Design Airline of the Year – Asia” from TheDesignAir.

Global Traveler, an American travel magazine read by more than 500,000 people worldwide, held its “20th Anniversary GT Tested Reader Survey Awards” this year. International business and high-end travelers were asked to vote on outstanding performers in the global travel industry. As a long-time winner of the Best Airline in North Asia award, China Airlines was praised by international travelers for its commitment to providing high-quality services that make travelers feel at home on every flight.

China Airlines was named a 2024 Five Star Global Airline by the Airline Passenger Experience Association (APEX) for its commitment to providing travelers with the best cabin services. Travelers rated airlines in five categories: seat comfort, cabin service, food and beverage, entertainment, and Wi-Fi. China Airlines also won the Best Wi-Fi award in Greater China. The airline’s next-generation fleets of 777, A350, and A321neo aircraft are now all equipped with in-flight Wi-Fi wireless networking. A range of bandwidth plans to enjoy multimedia streaming or web browsing services on their personal mobile devices are available for travelers to purchase via credit card or redeem through their membership miles. The all new A321neo, the mainstay on regional routes in particular, offers complementary Wi-Fi text messaging services for all passengers so important messages are not missed.

TheDesignAir, the well-known international airline design review website, once again named China Airlines “Design Airline of the Year – Asia” and the airline placed fourth in the Design Airline of the Year award. The A321neo, the mainstay on regional passenger routes, is the latest aircraft to enter service with China Airlines. The aircraft cabin features Oriental aesthetics that link local cultural heritage with natural landscapes and city culture. In the Premium Business Class cabin, serene and reserved palettes cultivate the serene ambiance of forest glades. In Economy Class, bright colours were chosen to create lively urban vibes. Fully-flat Business Class seats as well as spacious and comfortable Economy Class seats are all equipped with 4K high-definition displays. The large 13.3” displays in Economy Class offer an enhanced viewing experience.
