China Airlines Rated “Best Airline in North Asia” by Global Traveler

China Airlines was once again named “Best Airline in North Asia” and drew international attention for its performance in each category.

Global Traveler, with more than 500,000 readers worldwide, held the “19th Annual Reader Survey”, which comprised of readers, international business travelers and premium travelers who selected the best of the best in the global travel industry. China Airlines, a regular fixture in the Global Traveler annual reader survey, has gained the praise and trust of international travelers with its longstanding commitment to making guests feel at home.

China Airlines is continuing to upgrade its quality of service by introducing the A321neo, a next-generation eco-friendly passenger aircraft. Contact-free service is emphasised throughout the fleet and each seat is equipped with industry-leading 4K high-definition displays. The displays can also be remotely controlled through smart personal devices and the “Dynasty Sky Reading” service was also launched throughout the entire fleet and on all routes. In keeping with contact-free epidemic prevention services in the Post-COVID area, travelers in every cabin class can now use personal mobile devices to download in advance and read an unlimited number of books and magazines.

China Airlines is moving toward the realisation of sustainable flight operations goal. The “Clean & Green Plant-based Cuisine” in-flight menu on all routes departing from Taiwan was introduced in December this year in partnership with Yang Ming Spring, a Michelin green star restaurant. Local ingredients were handpicked to reduce our carbon footprint and provide an inclusive catering services. This year, we won the 5-star aviation award from the “Airline Passenger Experience Association (APEX) for our exceptional performance as an international carrier.
