Cessna 182 with latest Garmin 1000 NXi Avionics touches down at Avalon Airshow

Hawker Pacific showcasing a Cessna Skylane 182 fitted with the latest Garvin 1000 NXi Avionics at Avalon Airshow

Garmin 1000 NXi upgrades available with Hawker Pacific for Cessna Skyhawk 172, Cessna Skylane 182, Cessna Turbo Stationair HD T206, Beechcraft Bonanza G36 and the Beechcraft Baron G58.

Hawker Pacific, the leading aviation solutions provider in Asia, Pacific and the Middle East, is pleased to confirm the next generation Garmin 1000 NXi Avionics flight deck has been introduced to Textron Aviation’s piston product range and is now available in Asia Pacific.

Hawker Pacific is showcasing the new Cessna Skylane 182 aircraft fitted with the latest Garmin avionics at the Australian International Airshow held at Avalon Airport in Geelong Victoria from 28th February to 3rd March.

The new aircraft is the first Cessna piston aircraft to be demonstrated in Australia with the next generation Garmin1000 NXi avionics system.

The next generation of Garmin avionics is currently available to be installed in the Cessna Skyhawk 172, Cessna Skylane 182, Cessna Turbo Stationair HD T206, Beechcraft Bonanza G36 and the Beechcraft Baron G58 models.

Tony Jones, Hawker Pacific, says the Garmin 1000 NXi flight deck will be revolutionary for pilots and the company looks forward to bringing the technology to customers in the region.

Features of the new Garmin 1000 NXi avionics system include significantly faster processing times, improved graphics rendering, enhanced readability with LED back-lighting, wireless cockpit connectivity, including wireless database updates using Garmin Flight Stream, enhanced situational awareness with SurfaceWatch, visual approaches and map overlay on the HIS.

Hawker Pacific has a fantastic lineup of aircraft on display at Avalon Airshow this week including a Cessna Citation Latitude, Cessna Grand Caravan EX, Cessna TTX, a Beechcraft King Air C90GTx, Beechcraft Bonanza G36 and Bell 407GX Helicopter.

The company is showcasing its extensive product service offering with experts attending from aircraft sales and support, Special Missions, Government Business, Helicopter Sales and Support, Spares and Logistics and MRO. Hawker Pacific’s studio will be located at EW7.
