Cebu Pacific Air teams up with AFI KLM E&M
Cebu Pacific Air has shown its satisfaction with AFI KLM E&M by adding additional aircraft into their existing contract. This adds another seven Airbus A321ceo and 32 A321neo aircraft to the original agreement signed in 2017 for the airlines A320 fleet. Fabrice Defrance, senior vice president of commercial for AFI KLM E&M, said: “In 2017, Cebu Pacific Air signed its first contract with us. They are thus a recent customer and it is a great honour for us to have been able to rapidly convince the airline of our expertise and efficiency. We have taken up a challenge by demonstrating our ability to adapt to its ambitious fleet plan and operating imperatives in very short order.”
AFI KLM E&M will supply a range of services, including component repairs from Singapore and Europe as well as access to the local pool of spare parts. This contract increases the role of AFI KLM E&M across Asia Pacific through its joint venture with Sabena Technics, Singapore Component Solutions, based in Singapore. Operating from Seletar Airport, SCS specialises in repairs for A320, A330, ATR and Fokker 100 fleets with a comprehensive offering for avionics, mechanical and pneumatic components along with aerostructure and cabin and safety components. – Michael Doran
