CAE has sold a Boeing 737NG FFS to Kunming Aviation Safety Training Centre in China – adding a new customer for its simulator products.
The Boeing 737NG CAE 7000 Series FFS will feature a third-generation CAE Tropos 6000 visual system. This is CAE’s first sale to Kunming Aviation Safety Training Company, which is owned by Sichuan Haite High-Tech Company. Delivery will be in 2013.
The deal, along with other contracts with Aeroflot and Air Canada, brings the total number of FFS sales that CAE has announced to date during fiscal year 2013 to seven.
“These simulator contracts reflect CAE’s continued strength in serving emerging markets in China and Eastern Europe, as well as for new aircraft types such as the Boeing 787,” said Jeff Roberts, CAE’s group president, civil simulation products, training and services. “We are pleased to add Kunming as a new customer,” he added.
