Burrana launches new branding in Europe at AIX 2019
Following the announcement of digEcor’s acquisition of commercial IFE business from Collins Aerospace, Burrana will exhibit for the first time in Europe at AIX 2019 under its new brand.
“It’s been an exciting time for us all as we launched Burrana, building on our 50 year legacy of innovation. Our highest priority is to delight our 300+ customers that between them operate more than 1,400 aircraft with our solutions installed. Integrating our global employee base to ensure seamless business operations is a close second,” said Burrana CEO, David Withers.
“digEcor was well known for our ability to innovate, rapidly bringing new products to market. With the new products, capabilities, but most importantly, people that have joined us from Collins, Burrana will build on digEcor’s legacy adding Collins production capacity, OEM relationships and engineering capabilities,” said Withers.
The AIX exhibition is one of the key passenger experience calendar events and offers an excellent opportunity to demonstrate Burrana’s integrated cabin technologies including IFE, passenger power and cabin lighting to customers and industry experts. AIX will provide an exciting platform for Burrana to launch its new brand in Europe, cementing itself as a leader in cabin technology. Burrana is delivering on its vision of taking the passenger experience to the next level by leveraging its engineering expertise and proven ability to rapidly develop and certify new products.
“Our global team of innovative specialist engineers are leaders in their fields covering installation and certification, industrial design, customer experience, revenue generation and lifecycle support. Burrana is used to anticipating and responding to the future of passenger inflight experiences,” Withers said.
“It’s wonderful to be able to demonstrate a wider product range with the PAVES IFE Systems family of seat back and overhead solutions alongside digEcor’s GLIDE, Engage, In-seat Power, PSS and Lighting products, offering modular, affordable and tailored solutions.”
“The team and I look forward to welcoming everyone to our new Burrana booth during AIX, to share our plans for the future of the Burrana journey and to hear from our customers about their goals and product ambitions,” said Withers.
