BOC AVIATION PLACES SIX A321s WITH EVA

BOC Aviation is pleased to announce the placement of six Airbus A321 aircraft with EVA Airways Corp. (EVA) for delivery between March and August 2015.
EVA Air has signed the leases as it renews its narrow-body fleet to expand its regional routes. The aircraft will be equipped with CFM engines.

“EVA has chosen BOC Aviation to help meet our desire to renew our fleet with current and modern aircraft needed to satisfy customers’ expectations of a superior travel experience,” said EVA President, Austin Cheng. “This will meet our goals of expanding our regional routes. We are pleased to renew our relationship with BOC Aviation.”

Robert Martin, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of BOC Aviation, said, “This placement is particularly significant given that EVA was one of BOC Aviation’s first and long-standing customers, and it is the first placement from the 75-strong order of the popular A320 family aircraft we recently placed with Airbus. The A321 aircraft has a track record of operational efficiency and favoured by airline customers for short-haul and medium-haul routes, especially in Asia where demand is strong for larger narrow-body airplanes to move people between cities.”

BOC Aviation has a firm order of 75 A320 family aircraft for delivery from 2015 to 2019. The order comprises 35 A320 aircraft and 40 A321 aircraft.
