Bell Textron announced the signed purchase agreement of the first Bell 407GXi helicopter in Taiwan to Ginger Aviation. Founded by Taiwanese conglomerates in the utilities and aviation industry in 2022, Ginger Aviation plans to use their Bell 407GXi to address a growing demand for helicopter powerline wash and inspections in country.

We look forward to working with Ginger Aviation to support the aircraft’s entry into the fleet when it is delivered later this year.”
There are more than 1,500 Bell 407s operating around the world in six continents, surpassing six million total fleet flight hours. The aircraft sets a high standard for single-engine aircraft with its unmatched reliability and performance. The Bell 407GXi is outfitted with the new Rolls-Royce M250-C47E/4 turbine engine equipped with two dual-channel FADEC turbine, delivering exceptional hot and high performance, fuel efficiency and the ability to cruise at 133 kts/246 km/h. Garmin’s G1000H NXi Integrated Flight Deck, complete with high-resolution displays and faster processors, offers increased brightness and clarity, faster startup and map rendering, as well as connectivity to tablets and smartphones.
Bell sells 429s to Southeast Asian customers
Bell Textron Inc. has announced the sale of two Bell 429s to two corporate customers in Southeast Asia, demonstrating the Bell 429’s continued popularity among corporate customers who value the Bell 429’s reliability, smooth and quiet ride, and Bell’s industry-leading support and services. With the announcement, there will be close to 15 Bell 429 helicopters serving corporate customers in the region. This sale comes on the back of two Designer Series Bell 429s that were recently delivered to Advanced Flight in New Zealand. Today, more than 400 Bell 429 aircraft globally serve an array of customers, offering operators large cabins, intuitive displays and excellent performance. The Bell 429, with more than 500,000 global fleet hours, remains at the forefront as mission requirements evolve. Advanced capabilities of the 429 include single pilot IFR, Category A operations and an integrated avionics glass cockpit, designed to offer the best combination of flexibility, safety, and durability.
