Airbus has appointed Andrew Forbes as the new head of the Middle East and North-Africa region of Secure Land Communications. He replaced Selim Bouri who has moved on to another position within Airbus.
IFE specialist company Burrana has named Chris Brady as a non-executive director on the board effective 2 September. Brady is a co-founder of Acro Aircraft Seating and was its CEO until 2019.
Satcom Direct has appointed John Tan as regional director for the Asia-Pacific region. Based out of the Hong Kong office, Tan will manage the APAC sales and business development activities reporting to vice president for international Michael Skou Christensen.
Dassault Aviation has appointed Anne Devilliers as international sales director for Great Britain, Ireland, the Balkans and Greece. She will report to Gilles Gautier, vice president for Falcon sales at Dassault Aviation.
Helicopter service and maintenance supplier CHC Group has named Miguel Carrasco has been promoted to the role of senior vice president for operations and supply chain. Carrasco will oversee maintenance, supply chain, flight operations and other key operational functions across the company.
Hong Kong Aircraft Engineering Company (HAECO) said it has tapped Frank Walschot, former SR Technics head, as HAECO’s new CEO. He will start the position in December. He has previously worked in the aviation MRO industry in Europe, the United States, Singapore, and mainland China and takes over from interim CEO Summit Chan, who will continue to act as interim CEO until 1 December.
MRO provider SR Technics said it has named Jean-Marc Lenz as its new chief executive officer, succeeding Frank Walschot who took over at HAECO.



Emirates has appointed Adel Al Redha as chief operating officer, named Adnan Kazim as chief commercial officer and named Majid Al Mualla as divisional senior vice president for international affairs.
Dassault Falcon Jet (DFJ) has appointed Thierry Betbeze as CEO of the Dassault Aviation subsidiary, which is responsible for Falcon business aircraft marketing, sales and support in the Americas. He had been serving as senior vice president of finance at DFJ since 2016.
Vinci Airports and Cambodia Airports announced that Alain Brun has returned to Cambodia to take over as CEO of Cambodia Airports. He previously served as business development director Asia-Pacific for Vinci Airports in Singapore.
Regional aircraft lessor TrueNoord has appointed Julien Millet as chief financial officer. Originally acting as interim CFO, Millet took up this new position earlier in the year. He has worked closely with the company since 2016 from an investor and board perspective in his previous role at Bregal Freshstream, one of TrueNoord’s cornerstone investors.
Avion Group has appointed Irina van Heeswijk as director for sales and marketing where she will be responsible for leading the commercial team, focused on developing new Avion Flight Training Centres, the sales of Phantom full flight simulators as well as Avion’s PR and marketing activities.
Hong Kong-based Metrojet has named Dave Yip to the new role of director of business development where he will oversee all aspects of business development, including aircraft management, charter, aircraft sales, client relations and special customer projects.
Spairliners, a joint venture between Lufthansa Technik and Air France Industries KLM Engineering & Maintenance, has appointed Benoît Rollier as managing director and chief financial officer. He joins Thies Möller, who remains managing director and CEO, as both jointly head the executive board of the leading component provider in the after sales market for the Airbus A380 and the Embraer E-Jet family.
The International Air Cargo Association has named Celine Hourcade as its project manager to lead its sustainability and cargo service quality project. Hourcade has 18 years of experience in international business, mainly in the aviation industry, working for WaveStone, Amadeus, and then for IATA for 13 years.
Universal Avionics has named John Benoit to the position of director of strategic business development. He will lead market development activities with OEMs (airframes and avionics), contribute to the development of product roadmaps, and foster partnerships.
Hong Kong-based Metrojet said its general manager for the China Air Operator’s Certificate (AOC) Michael Chen has been elected to the mainland China Asian Business Aviation Association (AsBAA) Board of Governors for a two-year term. In his AsBAA role, Chen will be responsible for enhancing the brand awareness of the association in the China aviation industry and together with the International Business Aviation Council (IBAC) assist on enhancing operational safety practices.
FlightSafety International announced that Daniel Greenhill has joined FlightSafety Unmanned Systems Training as director of sales. Greenhill began his career with FlightSafety in 2004.
