New chief commercial officer named at Aero Design Labs: Aero Design Labs (ADL) announced that Chris Jones has joined its’ leadership team as Chief Commercial Officer. Reporting to Jeff Martin, President and Chief Executive Officer, Jones will be responsible for all customer engagements, driving the business forward on a global scale as the company transitions to its next exciting phase. On joining ADL, Jones said “I am joining ADL at an exciting time as we bring our FAA approved products to market. Arjan de Jong joins APOC: APOC announced it has named industry specialist Arjan de Jong as vice president of operations to guide the operational side of the organisation, with a focus on continuous improvement and efficiency. FL Technics Wheels & Brakes GmbH appoints new COO in Hanover: FL Technics, a global provider of aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services, and a part of Avia Solutions Group, has appointed David Kahl as COO of its’ Wheels & Brakes business in Hanover. Kahl has worked in the aviation industry for nearly eight years and has extensive knowledge and experience in the Wheels & Brakes segment. Having previously worked at Lufthansa Technik, Kahl took on responsibilities of build-up and co-project management for the establishment of a Wheels Shop, product sales for Wheels & Brakes services, as well as taking on full budgetary responsibility with a focus on Commercials. His new role as COO will see him taking charge of FL Technic’s Wheels & Brakes services in Germany, working with the team to grow and expand the company’s footprint in the market. “The aircraft Wheels & Brakes segment has been on an impressive growth in both Europe and Germany specifically, so I’m more than delighted to continue my work in this segment and to be joining FL Technics,” said Kahl. “There is still a lot of potential left unexplored in the market and with the help of the wonderful team of professionals at FL Technics, I believe we will be seizing those opportunities and boosting our growth in no time.”
New commercial director at EPCOR: EPCOR announced Rob van de Graaf will join EPCOR’s management team as commercial director. Van de Graaf builds upon an impressive career in various regions in Europe, the United States and Asia. Van de Graaf said “I am excited to join the EPCOR family and to help continue to build and grow EPCOR’s business with innovative solutions in anticipation of market needs. With EPCOR’s strong customer focus we will continue to put the customer at the centre of all we do.” Van de Graaf started his 30-year aviation career in 1988 at Fokker Aircraft working in the customer support organisation. He gained experience at AAR in various commercial roles and was involved in various customer support, business development and sales roles. Rob was involved in the development for a component maintenance facility in China where he was based in Shanghai. In the Asia-Pacific region, he worked for HEICO and MTU where he was successful in engine contracts with various carriers in South-Korea, Indonesia and Australia. After a short adventure in Turbine Aero, he was asked to lead the commercial department of EPCOR. It fitted his desire to return to his roots in The Netherlands.
