https://www.interairport-southeastasia.com/en-gb/lp/exprom-2.htmlASL Aviation Holdings and AMETEK MRO AEM have announced a new agreement for the provision of landing gear services for ASL’s European fleet of B737 Next Generation and Classic aircraft. The agreement covers the provision of overhaul services and loan gear sets until the end of 2026 and builds on ASL’s existing relationship with AEM, who have been an ASL trusted supplier for many years.

“This agreement epitomises the desire for ASL to create strategic partnerships with suppliers of the calibre of AEM. It allows us to consolidate the overhaul activity for landing gears across our European B737 fleet and benefit from cementing a relationship with a trusted supplier in whom we have great confidence will deliver an excellent service for us,” said James George, Head of Procurement, ASL Aviation Holdings.

Andy Wheeler, Divisional Vice President and Managing Director of AEM added that, “Investment in streamlining our processes, alongside our focus on skills development, means that AEM can ensure sustained repair and overhaul services as the industry’s demand for landing gear services increases and ASL grows its operations.”

AMETEK MRO AEM has been an independent overhaul and repair facility for more than 60 years. The company provides a broad range of services to international and regional airlines, helicopter operators and airframe manufacturers. Conducting business from three sites in the United Kingdom, AMETEK MRO AEM’s capabilities cover aircraft windings, electrical power, hydraulic components, landing gear and safety equipment.
