ALSIM sells ALSR20 simulator to Cirrus; CPaT enhances training software platform

ALSIM announced it has sold an ALSIM ALSR20 simulator to Cirrus South Africa, based in Lanseria, South Africa. The ALSR20 is the new simulator manufactured by ALSIM and is the exact replica of the Cirrus SR20 aircraft. This Flight Training Device (FTD) Level 5 is specifically designed for PPL and IR training needs. The device reproduces the Cirrus SR20 specific interior cockpit and flight deck and comes along with a Garmin GDU 1050A and GFC 700 Autopilot. The ALSR20 is equipped with a Garmin GMA 350C – All digital Audio Panel and a Garmin GCU 479. The device can also simulate the Cirrus Airframe Parachute System (CAPS).

Tony Forbes from Cirrus South Africa said “The reliability and the quality of the product as well as the impressive in-house support structure were the key factors for our decision to buy from ALSIM.”

Nicolas De Lassus, sales account manager at ALSIM, said “We are pleased to welcome Cirrus South Africa in the ALSIM family. Adding an ALSR20 will enable them to provide higher quality for their simulator training courses. Thank you once again Tony and the Cirrus South Africa team for their trust, we hope it is the beginning of a long-term relationship between both our companies.”
