ALSIM announced the sale of an AL40/42 reconfigurable Flight Simulator to Sichuan Longhao Pilots Training. The simulator will be installed at Longhao’s Jingmen branch. This will be Alsim’s first AL40/42 convertible in China.

The device reproduces the Diamond specific interior cockpits and flight decks. Changing from the DA40 to the DA42 configuration is quick and easy, achieved by swapping only the dashboard and centre console. The simulator includes real Garmin G1000 NXI and GFC 700 Autopilot / Flight Director, the latest VFR-VS image generator and visual system with 210° screen and the instructor station designed for instructor comfort. This simulator is compliant with the latest aviation standards from EASA (FNPT II) and the FAA (AATD & FTD 5) to TC (FTD 2) and CAAC (FTD 5).
