ALSIM has launched its new Piper Series with the AL100i simulator designed to replicate the Piper Pilot 100i, which is one of the most popular training aircraft in the United States of America.
The AL100i is designed to be a close replica of the Pilot 100i developed by Piper –a highly regarded three seat, valued-priced trainer. The simulator is designed to FTD Level 5 standards, offering a full-size flight deck replica, a semi-enclosed instructor station, active control loading, and a specific flight model based on aircraft flight characteristics. The AL100i is equipped with an immersive visual system featuring 3 projectors, delivering an unequaled 210×55° field of view.
Additionally, the simulator is equipped with the original G3X and GNX375 manufactured by Garmin. This integration guarantees an impressive level of performance, features and ergonomics, built to mimic what’s found in the actual aircraft, a world first for the Pilot 100i platform.
To meet the specific needs of different training environments, the AL100i is available in different options regarding size and configuration, allowing flight schools to choose the version best suited to their programs and budget.
Jean-Paul Monnin, co-founder and president of ALSIM, states: “We’re proud of the product we are bringing to market. The AL100i represents a major step forward in training solutions for one of the most important aircraft in the U.S. We are glad this much-anticipated development will bring flight training programs that use the AL100i an increased level of efficiency and are looking forward to seeing the success it provides their students.“
Flight schools such as Paragon Flight Training and Rocky Mountain College have already integrated the AL100i into their training programs.
