An accomplished and seasoned professional with more than 20 years of industry experience,Toby has helped travel and technology brands digitise their businesses and marketing, and increase loyalty and direct revenues. Prior to joining Affinidi, Berger was the Chief Operating Officer, APAC and Vice President of Partners for Upgrade Pack, a travel tech start-up, where he established the APAC HQ and scaled operations and revenue across the region. There, he successfully developed multi million-dollars in annual recurring revenue (ARR) pipeline and led financial institutions across seven APAC markets.

At Expedia, he was responsible for building the media solutions business in Canada and then in APAC. There he worked with travel partners and other non-travel brands to drive revenue on and off Expedia’s core sites.

Berger also spent five years at Google in Singapore, where he led the strategy and relationships with some of Google’s largest clients across APAC, as well as the commercial strategy of Google’s programmatic and analytics ad-tech stack. Over that period, he helped some of the world’s largest brands advance their digital marketing and better prepare for the adoption of new technologies. Berger has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Western Ontario, Canada and a Masters of Business Administration from Ivey Business School (Hong Kong campus).
