Asian Aviation Editor Matt Driskill is In Conversation with Balu Ramachandran, a senior vice president at Cleartrip. Ramachandran is the Global Head for the air business at Cleartrip. In this role, he manages and maintains relationships with all airline partners. He plays a vital role in driving the strategy for the air business to grow Cleartrip’s web and mobile footprint across Middle East and India. He is also responsible for leading the distribution efforts for Cleartrip that comprises solutions for corporate travel, small and mid-sized travel agencies as well as API and white-label solutions for various partners in the ecosystem. Prior to Cleartrip, he has worked with BMR Advisors, Nokia Siemens and Tech Mahindra primarily in corporate development roles driving business growth through inorganic investments and alliances. Ramachandran has an engineering degree from Cochin University and an MBA from the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad.
